Anita is Babysensor's "Mom"

«BabySensor is my little baby, which I have developed to provide calmer and simpler days for parents who have newborn or smaller children in the house. "

Working closely with professionals in both health and technology has been crucial for us. BabySensor must be the best and simplest product on the market," says Anita.

When Anita began developing BabySensor over five years ago, she brought her own extensive parenting experience to the table. However, she was keen to understand how other parents navigated life with small children. Through in-depth conversations with countless mums and dads, she identified the key challenges that BabySensor could help solve.

"Many parents worry about whether their little ones are too cold or too warm, whether they're sleeping in the pram or in their bedroom. That’s why we designed the sensor to measure both skin and ambient temperatures, displaying the results directly in the app," Anita explains.

In addition to temperature, the sensor measures heart rate and oxygen saturation—key indicators of a baby’s health. This straightforward yet comprehensive overview offers peace of mind for parents and helps families enjoy calmer, more restful days and nights.

Advanced Technology Made Simple

BabySensor was designed to be user-friendly whilst relying on advanced technology. Anita wanted the baby monitor to work anywhere, which is why BabySensor connects to 4G.

"Parents shouldn’t have to worry about WiFi availability when they’re out and about," Anita notes.

Practical and Thoughtful Design

Both the base station and the bracelet were designed with practicality and aesthetics in mind. The base station, designed in Norway, is compact and stylish, with a practical loop and push-button closure. This makes it easy to attach to a pram, cot, or other convenient spot near the baby.

The bracelet, made from OEKO-TEX® certified material, is soft and gentle on a baby’s delicate skin. The sensor itself is securely attached to the bracelet. Its size has been carefully designed to be small enough not to disturb the baby, yet large enough to prevent any choking hazards.

Proudly Norwegian, Loved Worldwide

"Parents feel more at ease with BabySensor, and the feedback we’ve received has been fantastic," Anita shares with a smile.

"There were definitely more sleepless nights developing BabySensor than raising my own children, but I’m incredibly proud of this product. It’s been exhausting to create something so innovative, but hearing positive feedback from parents makes it all worthwhile. I’m especially proud that this is a 100% Norwegian-developed product, designed to make life easier for families around the world."
